Before and After...

Large gap and crowding

Patient didn’t like the gap between the front teeth.  Also the upper right canine was sticking out because it didn’t have enough room.  An upper fixed brace was used to align the arch.

Crossbites and crowding

The front teeth were leaning back and the lateral incisors were behind the lower front teeth in crossbite. The upper right canine was out of line. Wearing upper and lower fixed braces gave the patient a smile to be proud of.

Severe crowding

This patient had severe crowding in both arches and some instanding upper teeth. To create enough space a premolar tooth was extracted from each quarter of the mouth. Upper and lower fixed braces were worn for approximately 18 months to produce this lovely smile.

Misaligned teeth

The front teeth were leaning back and the lateral incisors were behind the lower front teeth in crossbite. The upper right canine was out of line. Wearing upper and lower fixed braces gave the patient a smile to be proud of.

Teeth leaning back and crowding

The front teeth were leaning back and the lateral incisors were behind the lower front teeth in crossbite. The upper right canine was out of line. Wearing upper and lower fixed braces gave the patient a smile to be proud of.

Missing front tooth on left side

The upper left lateral incisor and one of the lower incisors were genetically missing.  There was crowding of the upper right front teeth. The upper right canine was out of line. Extracting the upper right lateral incisor (to create symmetry) and wearing upper and lower fixed braces gave the patient a smile to be proud of.   The patient's dentist can reshape the canine teeth to make them look more like lateral incisors later on.

Severe crowding with a deep overbite

The upper front teeth were biting down on the gums of the lower front teeth, causing trauma.  If left this may have irreparably damaged the lower front teeth and gums, leading to their early loss.  There was also severe crowding making the smile unattractive.

Patient Testimonial

After a course of orthodontic treatment and gaining the great result shown above the patient said:

'It has given me confidence, I now smile on photographs where in the past I didn't like to show my teeth'.
